My name is Kristin Wiedemann and I am married with three daughters; Kira, Morgan, and Capri. They have all graduated high school and live on Marco Island, where they work and attend the university. I recently moved to Englewood and love this area. My Spanish name is Maestra, so feel free to address me in that way. I hope you enjoy the Spanish name given to your child. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and the Universidad de Mexico. I have a Master's degree in Spanish Linguistics and a Bachelor,s degree in English/Spanish Education. My last teaching position was at Marco Island Charter Middle School teaching middle school Spanish. I have also taught at Seton-LaSalle, Chaminade-Madonna, and the University of Pittsburgh.I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with all the grades at Epiphany Cathedral. I will be meeting with the students twice a week, except for kindergarten which is only once. I plan to give a homework assignment during the week, between classes, and not over the weekend. Students will be required to participate in all classroom activities and assignments. We have two classroom songs, De Colores and Eres Tu and I encourage you to play these songs for your children to reinforce the lyrics at home. Gracias.
